On April 16, our 100 pound propane bottle ran out. We only use it for cooking. Handyman jumped in the truck with my wallet and went down to the propane retail store and swap the empty one for a full one. I'm not so cruel as to ask you to guess how much that bottle of gas cost.
6,800 pesos or $114.01 USD cash. That last tank of gas lasted six months. I'm gonna have to start eating at Jollibee's. I'm now afraid to ask how much this next trip to Manila is gonna cost me in August. The last domestic flight between Dumaguete and Manila was only about $15 higher than it was 38 years ago round trip or about $110 USD. The last round trip cost me about $135.
