Is going one now. Goes till Jan. 5th guess I will drag my butt out and try to murder one. I only will shoot a doe. Had too many bucks that had too rank of a taste. Buddy is coming down to help me hunt.
Archery season goes till the 15th I think.
I doubt is I ever shoot another one with the bow. But sure had lots of fun doing it over the years.

My buddy came up and we murdered three of em. He shot two, but one we never were able to get. I got away on us. Something that doesn't happen often. Actually, I got 3 with one bullet. The doe I harvested was pregnant with two fetuses in her. I guess the conservation folks take that all into consideration when the set the seasons and limits. Almost any doe taken this time of year will be bred.
I still have till Jan 15 for the archery season, and I have a dandy crossbow that is dead on, so I might try to get another one later.
