We have two types of lizards here in the Philippines the smaller one is called a tiki (called a house lizard) the larger one is called a toko. The smaller one eats ants. Therefore I normally leave the Tikis alone. Because the ants are a bigger problem than the tiki shit.
That is until 3 o'clock this morning. I went to print something, not knowing that tiki was inside my printer. I pushed print and tiki ran out of my printer on top of the paper feed.
He left me a present on top of the paper that went through the printer. It was at 3 o'clock this morning that I decided I didn't need an anteater. I needed to kill that shitty little SOB. 7 o'clock this morning the handyman went tiki hunting. The little son of a bitch is on the run with the handyman close behind. The tiki disappeared behind a very large bookshelf and the hunt was called off. The Taki and I both know that his life is in danger.
The larger ones the toko make so much noise, when he's looking for a girlfriend, he is not tolerated anywhere on the property. The toko is the enemy of the dog pack in the yard and they kill everyone they come across. They also kill rats and snakes just the same. The handyman is always fighting the jungle and the critters that live in it. I love living in the jungle but sometimes it can be trying. I hate snakes.

Either of those any kin to what we called a "gecko" when I was living in the barracks on Clark?
I was told to leave them be, they eat insects. Fine by me, never bothered me.

Don't bother me either until they shit in my computer printer. That is what I call an invitation to war and I will kill that little son of a bitch if I catch him in my office. Printer just cost too much money for a damn lizard to be using it for a shit house.

Both of them are part of the gecko family. And I'll bet none of them ever shit in your brand new printer.

It was 1971. A "printer" was about 6 feet long and weighed a couple of hundred pounds...

Not to mention I could barely afford a pencil at the time. What little money I had was reserved for beer and cigarettes.
