Holy shit

Post by Jim @ Jawa »

This trip has turned into one hell of a big Tahi bagel, (shit typhoon).
The first two weeks went well one with the relatives in Michigan and one in Texas for a military reunion. The last 10 weeks in Seattle, which I was supposed to be dealing with the VA. It turns out that the apartment rental people had taken my money in May and rent my apartment to somebody else before I got here. Now I have to deal with crooked Seattle rental people. Now I have to deal with the VA and the Seattle rental people, they already got my money which by the way is illegal. I'm stuck in an expensive hotel not having much of a choice other than the sidewalk. Then hope I can get some kind of a refund from the crooked Seattle rental people. It only took them seconds to get my money, but it's gonna take me weeks if not months to get back, even if I can get any of it back. Big corporate businesses don't really give a shit about their customers just as long as they can get their hands into your pocket. Once they do that, they know that you don't have enough money to hire good legal help to slap them on the wrist for the illegal shit they do. I honestly believe that the big Corporate companies are more corrupt than the federal government.
The amount of money that they stole was more than $15,500.00 from my Master Card account. So I advise everyone to stay out of Seattle because it's covered by a bunch of very large, corporate thieves. :x

Pretty much my opinion of cities in general, Jim. Sorry you're getting hassled like that.

They did refund 900+ dollars to cover the six days we have to spend here in this hotel. Which it does not.
We are scheduled to get in for a new apartment within the next eight hours. I'll let you know when I unlock the door and step in. ;) :(

They did refund 900+ dollars, yesterday, to cover the six days we spent here in this hotel. Which it does not. It is only about half.

We are in. More like an efficiency apartment rather than a one bedroom, which it claims to be. But it's still a pretty nice efficiency apartment more like a bachelor pad. But it's still pretty nice. It's on the ground floor and wheelchair accessible.

What is it costing you? Not the $15,000 I hope.

About 14,600 dollars paid in advanced to cover 10 weeks of rent. It's within walking distance of the VA hospital. It's not managed by Blue Ground Apartment/Seattle who's told that money. The management of this building is working to get a refund for me and I have not paid anything to get into this building. They are waiting till I get a refund from Blue Ground Apartment/Seattle to pay the rent on this place. We have literally paid nothing more to get in here and will only pay after I get a refund from Blue Ground Apartment/Seattle. I thought they offered a very good deal considering the situation I found myself in once I had paid for an apartment that didn't exist. I don't expect any more in this situation until tomorrow, which is Monday.
I will keep you guys informed of this Tahi bagel as it continues to develop. I will be checking with the Better Business Bureau once this shit storm is over.
