Build one of these! All flat metal in very thin, laser cut sheets.

This piece is comprised of three subassemblies, each with 2 or 3 parts. Fold to shape, insert Tab A in Slot B, fold the tabs over, rinse, repeat.

My magnifying visor, eyesight and patience are being tested for sure. I thought the F4U Corsair version was a challenge, but this is on a whole other level.

Putting a swing set together is test enough for me.

One year, Santa brought one of your grandkids a kit, I think it was a train locomotive. He was about 7 or 8 years old. Naturally I was appointed the person to build it. I studied the damned thing, and it stealthily got mixed in with some other stuff we brought home. Once out of sight of the kiddo, it was relegated to the stack of projects that will never get started, much less done. If its my idea, fine, but dont dream up stuff for me to do, that sometimes it over my pay grade. And naturally, if it ever gets brought up, or discovered, then I am the bad, lazy guy who never got it done for poor junior.
