Anything that my wifey is looking for, and I don't give a shit if it is in HER pantry, HER car, ANYWHERE in our house, or ANYWHERE on the farm, if she wants it, and can't find it, she gets all flustered, all in a tizzy, starts speaking in tongues, and insinuates that I lost or misplaced it. If something with a battery goes dead, and needs a new battery, then I must have left it on. If a funnel in her kitchen is misplaced, or a spatula, or some seasoning, then I must have used it and not put it back. AND, AND, AND, THEN, when she finds it, where SHE obviously put it, since I never knew the item even existed, does she apologize for accusing ME? HELL NO.
Thank you for letting me vent.

Well, not THAT particular one anyway...
Plenty of other little aggravations tho. Whereas I am perfect in every way and a joy to live with...

A woman acting irrationally, accusing her husband of being responsible for all her difficulties, speaking in tongues, then refusing to admit she got it wrong?GeneMO wrote: Wed Nov 27, 2024 3:31 pm Anything that my wifey is looking for, and I don't give a shit if it is in HER pantry, HER car, ANYWHERE in our house, or ANYWHERE on the farm, if she wants it, and can't find it, she gets all flustered, all in a tizzy, starts speaking in tongues, and insinuates that I lost or misplaced it. And they don't seem to realize how much shit we put up with just to stay married to them. I've been told that the fucking we're getting was for the fucking we got. They don't seem to realize that comparing sex and love is like comparing a rock to an orange.Sounds like an average day around here
When I was building that house in Houston Alaska. She picked out the color of paint for the living room and I spent the entire night painting it the color she wanted because the inspector was due at 8 o'clock in the morning for the final inspection before we are allowed to move in. That morning she stopped by on her way to work to see how my painting was coming along and exclaimed that it was the wrong color! I had to bite my tongue very hard to keep from blowing a cork. Nowadays whenever it comes to anything I do I make sure she is sure at how she wants it no matter if it's paint color or anything else.
We married men have got to learn that the female controls us totally and completely. All for the furry little thing between her legs.
That's my take on this particular subject and I'm still married after 37 years. After two failed marriages and nine years as a bachelor and single parent that if I am to stay married I had to become subservient to the wife. I have learned in the past 37 years that my marriage depends on whether I can keep my mouth shut when I so desperately wanna scream shut the fuck up. I've only done that once in my entire life with her and she remained silent for the next 2 km, she was driving.

Jim, nearly 50 years ago my then wife (now X) decided that she didn't like the color of the living room walls. Being half color blind and not really caring what color the walls were, I said "let's go find a color you like and I'll repaint it for you".Jim @ Jawa wrote: Mon Dec 02, 2024 7:35 pm She picked out the color of paint for the living room and I spent the entire night painting it
We went to the paint store, where she spent quite a lot of time looking at color samples and picked out a color she liked. I (again being half color blind) offered no opinions or input into the choice. We bought enough paint for 2 coats, a few brushes and a roller and home we went.
The next day I moved the furniture to the middle of the room, laid out drop cloths and began to apply paint. I cut in around the windows, then started rolling on the walls. As I worked, I noticed that there was very little difference between the old paint and the new. In fact, as it dried it became very nearly impossible to tell what had been painted and what hadn't. It was the same color.
We bought new paint because she didn't like the old color, she then picked out a "New" color that was an exact match for the old one. Of course it was my fault.
