Damn Chinese fryers I bought are coming apart at the seams right out of the box.

Mike, their regulator tip doesn't mate with our twenty pound cylinders. You can't tighten them enough to open the plunger on the valve. The threads are thinner than a grommet. I twisted this one off by hand and at my advanced age that ain't saying much.

The hose connection coming off the effluent side of the regulator is larger than our normal hose size and every damn one of their hose clamps were pre-stripped for my convenience.

Actually the second tank went dry and when I changed it, I yanked the condom sized O ring off the end before I hooked it up. I figured I had nothing to lose if it leaked except to sacrifice some other regulator and hose to try and hook it up.

To my surprise it worked.

Still cooking and hoping to get through this year then rebuild for next year.
