Better video of the burner (general discussion)

Been thinking about the bowl thing.

If you turn a bowl out of a solid chunk of wood like a piece of a log, you're carving away the end grain and the normal grain of the wood would run from top to bottom, right?

So you'd have to put one electrode say in the center of the bottom and then do multiple burns moving the other electrode around the rim.

Just thinking out loud here, I'd leave the bowl a little taller than finished height so I could drill small holes around the lip to insert a screw or nail to clip the electrode to. Probably start with 4 equally spaced and just treat a quarter of the bowl at a time with electrolyte.

Burn that section, set it aside to dry, then move the electrode, dope another quarter and burn it, etc.

I think that'd be interesting to try.

If the grain runs across the bowl, it'd be a whole other ball game.
