Cold enough to freeze the balls off a brass monkey. Colder 'n a well diggers ass in the Klondike. Colder than a witches tit.

Colder then a mother in law's heart. "I don't know but I been told Eskimo ----y is mighty cold. Spring has sprung and fall has fell, winter is here and it's colder than it was last year.

LOL Sid, I remember trying to lick the frost off a metal ice tray mom had just placed on the counter top, and of course she caught me!

Minus 8 here this morning, the coldest straight temperature I’ve ever recorded here at our place. Fortunately there’s no wind, at the moment.

It has been 40 years probably, but it was really cold. We went over to the other farm to feed, and one of the chores was filling up the water tank, manually, and we had wood fired tank heaters. Had to build a fire inside the heater, and it heated the water. Worked great. Anyway, I went to lift the handle on the frost free water hydrant, and the handle snapped off in my hand it was so cold. Brittle I guess.
