The Home Board

I just wanted to wish everyone who does drop by a Merry Christmas, and happy new year.

I hope everyone has fun, and enjoys good health, enough wealth, and has only small problems throughout the coming year!

I just started cooking my potato salad to take tomorrow to one of my daughters.
I'm taking a breather from the big Christmas gathering up here in el campo.

We had a good Christmas. The scheduling went off better than most years. We were able to get the youngest son's family in on December 13. Everything else worked good. We did not get to see the kids in Georgia, but hopefully get to go down there this spring.

Patria, Gene, I am glad to hear from you both. I understand about “taking a break” from big celebrations at home, we have toned ours down a lot too. But we saw all the kids and grandkids, and actually had a new grandson born a few days after Christmas…so it was really nice here, too.

I could not log in to The Home Board, and it's the first time it happens to me.. anywhere! I went to a bunch of other forums, mostly phpBB places I belong to and got in fine. Anyway, I'm here!!

So yes, wishing you all a nice 2025!

We survived another one. I turned 70 right around thanksgiving. Got me a new camera. things are going OK I guess.
