I have this roughly triangular area under the power lines with the hill/forest on the left, stream on the right.

Bearing in mind that I'm modeling the 1950-1970 era, what should I do with this space?

Remind us, is that a farm yard, or barn lot? or what type of setting. Got you on the years.

We use to have quite a few of those old 8 sided building around, even a few round ones. Want to drive a Pollack crazy? put him in a round barn and tell him to go shit in the corner.

In a barn lot setting, you would want your manure pile as far away from things, and the house as possible, depending on the prevailing wind.

Or maybe a couple of pieces of old junk machinery, cultivators, horse drawn implements no longer used, etc.
